PTA

PTA is a national organization whose purpose is to promote and ensure the welfare of children.   It is also an advocacy organization and a mechanism for parents to become involved in, and have input at, their children's schools.

PTA is an active and enthusiastic partner in the educational system in White Plains.  Each of our schools is supported by a PTA unit which provides, among other things:  family-oriented activities, assembly programs, lunchtime enrichment activities, in-school volunteers, parent education and support programs, and PTA newsletters.  Below are the names of the current unit presidents at each school, as well as the presidents of the districtwide PTA Council .
